Rick is a characteristic, creative and energetic designer originally from historic Hyde Park in upstate New York’s Hudson Valley, also the hometown of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Rick occupied his childhood exploring the wooded rolling hills, granite bluffs, historic estates and agriculturally rich Hudson River Valley. Rick enjoyed working with his father constructing and maintaining their families multiple properties and homes which is where he became inspired about architecture and landscape design. Drawing and designing literally his entire life Rick developed artistic skills in many mediums such as sculpture, oil painting, watercolor painting, airbrushing, scale model making, ceramics, silk screening, graphic design + photography. To nurture his interest for Architecture and the Arts Rick has ventured to Western Europe several times to see, experience and absorb its multitude of architectural offerings. Being of Italian heritage, Rick always feels at home in the Italian landscape and with it's people. Truth be known, Rick has a great affinity for handmade pasta and meatballs...with locatelli pecorino romano cheese of course.

A strong and passionate dedication to site + building design is Rick's key to bringing quality care and design into every project. Whatever the scale of your project, he will surely take it to heart and the final result will usually meet and exceed expectations. Rick has been known to do vast research and detailed design analysis to provide the client with a project that will provide light, warmth, convenience, privacy, closeness to nature, shelter from the elements, ease to the environment and a content smile to the owners face when all is completed.
